Building a life and marriage with someone you love isn’t always a walk in the park. Sometimes people get relationship envy and look at a couple and think, “I wish I had what they have.” What a lot of people don’t realize though, is that the envy-inducing relationship works because they work at it. Simple, no secrets, no magic – just two people who love each other, work together, and see beyond any of the little things.

It’s obvious that Josie + Josh are planning a marriage, not just a wedding. A commitment means so many things, and it was so amazing to hang with a couple who laughed together through the discomfort of weird smooshy posing, lost against one another graciously at the arcade, and lovingly shared all of the perogies, no matter which side of the plate they happened to fall on. Life is made so much happier when you can find comfort in each other’s laughter, support each other through wins and losses, and share every bit of life with each other without worrying that you might be missing out.

Cheers to a wedding to remember and a marriage to last a lifetime! Xoxo

These two are so incredibly in love, and being able to enjoy one another despite rain, wind, and lack of sleep is definitely a testament to that. What could have been a damper of a day turned into an evening of running, laughing, puddle-jumping with cute umbrellas, and middle-of-the-street twirling.

Every so often we’re invited to participate in a wedding that is so much more than just a day’s event for two people. It’s a joining of two families, a beautiful, uplifting time for people to travel and come together, to relish in each other’s company, and to reminisce about all of the amazing relationships that have developed over the years.

We had the most amazing time taking part in every aspect of Christie & Shane’s day; from just hanging out while everyone got ready; to being witness to the most heartfelt, beautifully written vows; to listening to their parents, friends and family speak so highly of them during their speeches, expressing their love, pride, and gratitude in just being a part of their lives. Small, intimate weddings tend to have a certain closeness and familiarity to them, and we felt like we were being enveloped into that new family with open arms.

samadamengagementfallkissYou can tell when a couple are friends and operate as a team by the way they handle certain situations, and these two are very clearly best friends. Even after getting some bad news, they put their game faces on and carried each other through their photo shoot as if they didn’t have a care in the world.

We always adore carefree, laid-back couples, so Sam & Adam are absolutely perfect for us! We tend to be (slightly) crazy, sometimes bossy, and have at times dropped one another on our butts (quite literally) – so for a couple to act like we’re completely, 100% normal (and dare we say fun?!) ? Well, it just doesn’t get any better than that.

These two are going to have the most beautiful summer wedding, and we couldn’t be happier for them! Congrats, guys! xoxo
